Not quite my friend. In your situation, any possible answer would negate itself :

This sentence is a lie.

If it is a lie, then it must be true! But if it is true, then it must be a lie!

Any possible answer could not possibly support itself.

But with mine, the situation is somewhat different :

In a paradox, none of the options could work because they disprove themselves. However, in mine, either option would work equally well because they both carry the reasoning to prove themselves.

There must be a correct answer to my question, and that's not how a Catch-22 works.

I myself don't know if it was the chicken or the egg that came first and really to me it don't matter. All i know is eggs are great for breakfast and chicken sure does taste good on the grill!!!!
