guthans vs. skill cape

i was wondering weather i should keep my guthans or sell it to buy supplies for 99 cooking and fleching plz post your thoughts...

Sell Guthans and buy a skill.

sell it and buy fletching. that way you'll still have a lot of bows to alch at the end and you'll break even so you may prob be able to get back your guthans.

if youre gonna use the guthans for slayer, i would say keep the guthans and train slayer with it

if you want to get a skill cape you should work towards a harder and rarer 99 instead of fletching and cooking which are very common and are some of the easiest capes

If it was me, I would suggest firemaking, but why? I can't really tell you, since thats a waste of money.

If you like mining/smithing, You could do that.

tbh, don't sell it imo. although 99 cooking and fletching are nice, its an widely seen 99. So imo, keep guthans and work on a skill that doesn't take up cash but takes time, maybe like fishing or wcing.

I've got to agree with Joe3750, fishing lobs yourself and cooking them till you can cook monks without burning (with gauntlets and having done the Swan Song Quest to actually fish them yourself) will give you a boost on the Fishing Skill Cape. Plus, if Guthans goes up (AGAIN) even if you have tons of fish to sell and finally have that great cooking cape, You'll end up using all your profits to make up for the price difference when you rebuy Guthans. I'm a Slayer Freak so I'd never EVER sell my Guthans, Price Raise or not.

If you want a skill cape get a quest one ;) saves money, you get a cape and it means you can keep your guthans and work on getting some 99s (fishing then cooking is a great one to get).

I would go for a cape. But not cooking or fletching though :P Something more rare and exotic :) Agility ? :)

Smithing is fairly expensive to "buy" up to 99... I have to agree with the earlier post about getting a rare cape in hindsight - use the Guthans to get Slayer 99... It would take a while, but that'd be an awesome cape!!!

+ cooking cape only costs 1 - 2 mill, not a set of guthans, lol :)

capes mean nothing, do what interests you in the game. and if you do enjoy cooking doesn't relaly matter cause apparently so do a few hundred thousand other players with 99 cooking lol.
Personally- I love the herblore skill :D the only way to get that though is either farm or use alot of money.
